Attorney Alexandria Gordon is a Floridian, raised in the heart of the Orlando, FL community. She pursued her undergraduate degree at Florida International University where she graduated Summa Cum Laude and received her Bachelor’s degree in Business as Florida’s Bright Futures Scholarship recipient. She then pursued her law degree at Florida A & M University in Orlando, FL.
She knew from an early age that she wanted to be an attorney and in 2007 she found herself in the middle of litigation when her father, Orlando Police Officer Alfred Gordon, was killed in the line of duty. Alexandria served as an asset in providing testimony that led to a $24 million verdict.
Alexandria spent years working at one of Orlando’s largest personal injury law firms where she gained invaluable experience. She later moved on to work at two of the largest insurance carriers in the nation. During her career in the insurance industry she progressed from claims adjuster, claims manager, upward to panel counsel associate.
As an expert in her field she served as an Arbitrator where she heard thousands of cases from disputing insurance carriers and provided binding decisions of liability and medical disputes.
Alexandria has handled thousands of injury cases in her career and always knew she would use the knowledge and experience she gained on the insurance side to her future personal injury clients.
Today, Alexandria’s desire to serve her local community continues. She actively participates in several charities, and non-profit organizations. She is a member of the Florida Bar’s Young Lawyer’s Division. Additionally, she’s served as a panelist for the ACLU Central Florida Chapter where she serves in the defense of civil liberties, equality & justice.
During her reign as Miss Black South Florida, Alexandria held a passion for providing assistance and education to inner city youth like herself. She maintains these values and is consistently volunteering in the Central Florida Community.
She’s been featured in publications by Black Enterprise Magazine’s “Top 10 Black Lawyers You Should Know.”
In 2019 she was recognized by the National Black Lawyer’s Association and awarded the Top 40 under 40
Alexandria takes cases throughout the entire state of Florida, and prides her herself on having a firm that provides maximum recoveries to her clients.
Alexandria resides in Apopka where she enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband and three children.
